The first in-person Westchester Corporate Cup 5k Race in three years was held on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at beautiful Glen Island Park in New Rochelle, NY. With the incredibly hot and humid sunny weather, all the runners and walkers overcame the heat for a great turnout and a great time!
Due to some system issues, we were not able to announce Corporate Team Winners at the event. Our sincere apologies for that. However, we can make those announcements now.
Corporate Cup Team Winners
Congratulations to:
Ace Endico team of John Walsh, Stalin Cardenas, and Natalia Miranda for placing First with a team average of 23:55. Placing second was the team from H2M Architects & Engineers of Andrew Bein, Jose Tenecela, and Mark McKee with an average team time of 26:09. Placing third was the Ace Racers team of Hope Platel, Julia Martinez and Luke Faubel. Congratulations to our Corporate Cup team winners. We plan to coordinate the delivery of the overdue trophy and team medals soon! Our apologies once again for the delay.
Congratulations to Mia Behm for placing 1st in the female 39 and under division, but also overall. Mark Feigen placed 1st in the male 39 and under and came in 2nd overall respectively. Congrats also to Russel Cruz and Miira Torelli for placing 1st for the Masters Male and Female categories.
Direct Travel Air Travel Raffle Winner
Congratulations to Josefina Ortega who won the Air Travel raffle that was donated by Direct Travel. They donated two economy air tickets valid for travel within the US 48 states, Caribbean and Mexico valued up to $500 each. When we asked her where she was going, she said California. Please note that all proceeds from our race series go directly to Hope Community Services to help feed the underprivileged living in New Rochelle and to provide homeless services to veterans and the needy throughout Westchester County.
